RLM serves residents in apartment communities (most near major universities) owned and managed by The Prime Company through the hosting of weekly community events and Bible studies.We seek to create magnetic communities where we live, adding value to the lives of our neighbors, and ultimately connecting them with the life-giving power of Jesus.

Coordinator Job Description
With new locations opening in 2025—and restaffing at several sites—RLM is growing!
Is God calling you to share His love for people through Resident Life?
Requirements
Self-starters who love Jesus and love sharing the Gospel with others!
Actively involved in a local church (in one of RLM’s “site cities”) and leading a Bible study (If not currently leading, must have previous experience).
Host a weekly Bible study at their apartment complex (investigative/seeker-focused) and advertise to all residents.
Run a community/site event each week for residents—with a focus on food and fun!
Able to create and maintain a Prayer Support Team, with weekly updates using Signal app.
Meet every other week with the property management/site team to discuss plans for the events and marketing of the events.
Meet every other week with the RLM Director to discuss events and Bible study.
Meet weekly with a mentor from their church who is providing guidance, accountability, and prayer support for the RLC.
Estimated time requirement: 10 hours/week
Minimum 1-year commitment is requested, with ongoing service based on “fit” & performance.
Compensation
Free rent and utilities at the apartment where they live and serve.
Monthly ministry budget for coffee/meals/snacks/Bible study materials for residents.
Events budget based on number of residents & event attendance (varies by location/site).
Annual in-person Big Team Retreat for training, encouragement, and inspiration!

Resident Life Coordinators
Resident Life Coordinators, or RLC’s, live in apartment communities, welcoming their neighbors and building friendships, sharing the love that God has for all people. Caring for others starts with being a GREAT neighbor.
Our Four Pillars
Missional Neighbor
We host irresistible events, open our homes for radical hospitality, and seek opportunities to show genuine care for our fellow residents. As we do so, we invite our neighbors into a deeper sense of community. By thinking creatively and establishing a high standard for resident engagement, we create rhythms within our apartments that foster a sense of belonging and value.
Authentic Neighbor
As we seek to understand people’s story, we are more able to see how the Gospel directly affects their context. We foster genuine curiosity and good question asking through our intentional coursework, featuring various readings and conferences.
Biblical Neighbor
Resident Life Ministries seeks to train disciple makers who are equipped for missional living in whatever context they may be called. Our team will develop a foundational understanding of God’s Word and how it engages us deeper in the work of loving our neighbors.
Global Neighbor
Discover more of God’s heart for the world and your place in the mission of seeing every “tribe, tongue, and nation” won for Christ. We dive into various levels of coursework and cultural practices to expand our knowledge of the world around us. We will pray for the nations and engage with God’s heart for his global Church.
Our Paid, 2-Year
Ministry Intensive
Resident Life Ministries exists for the gospel to go forward at the apartments that we partner with. We train up individuals and teams to understand the gospel message, pursue God’s heart for the nations, and to be equipped for a lifetime of ministry. We offer a paid 2 year ministry intensive that allows for our teams to focus on ministry and equipping for a lifetime of ministry.

Our partner apartment communities experience organic business growth with Resident Life Coordinators on site in their buildings.
